We are dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all athletes of all abilities. Achievements are relative, and all progress should be celebrated.
We are driven to help you improve as a runner and achieve your personal best. With structured training and partner coaches, discover what you can do.
We are fundamentally committed to the safety of all members and the public. We establish clear safety protocols, and our board is trained in first aid and CPR.

Ambassadors are volunteers who have specific areas of focus to help keep us running!

In partnership with the McKinney Education Foundation (MEF), we are honored to award the Dan Crum Memorial Scholarship to two McKinney ISD students every year. This scholarship celebrates the life and legacy of Dan Crum, our club's first member, who embodied faith, courage, and a determined spirit. Dan Crum lost his battle with cancer in November 2017. He epitomized the welcoming family atmosphere of our running club, and we continue to honor his legacy through every membership by supporting graduating McKinney ISD seniors, helping to empower the next generation to pursue their goals, both on and off the trail. To date, the McKinney Running Club has funded over $60,000 worth of scholarships in our community, thanks in large part to the generous members of our organization.
McKinney Running Club was established on August 25, 2010, with Dan Crum as its first member. Since then, our club has grown into a non-profit organization with hundreds of members. Together, we have collectively run over an estimated 3.5 million miles together. Our club welcomes runners of all abilities, from Boston Marathon finishers to competitive cross-country teens, couch-to-5K warriors and wheelchair racers. If you love to run, we have a spot for you.
